How to Add & Subtract Integers with Winnie the Pooh!
It is not an easy task to get kids interested in mathematics. But relating math to something familiar and fun, can make it easier on both the teacher and the students. Learning how to add and subtract integers is a basis for all children. By relating the problems to something fun such as, Winnie the Pooh, you allow kids to get into learning and understanding the subject while listening to an interesting story at the same time.
Before the students begin learning how to add and subtract integers, they must first know what an integer is.
Integer: Any member of the set of positive whole numbers (1, 2, 3, ...), negative whole numbers (-1, -2, -3,...), and zero (0).
